Teacher Stuff Haul

Hey y'all! Welcome back to faith & flair pens. I'm so glad you're here and reading this post of mine. Today I wanted to share a teacher stuff haul! This is a collective haul of teacher/classroom things that I've picked up from a few different stores. I have things from Target, Michael's and Target. I'll share what I got, where I got it, what I plan to use it for, and what I paid. I didn't get too much because I didn't want to spend too much of my personal money and at the time I bought these things- I didn't know if I would be in the classroom or not this fall due to COVID-19. Now I know what my district has decided in general but I think I'm going to save that for a different blog post. Right now I'm just going to stick with this haul! I hope you have a good time taking a look at what I've bought.

"Composition Book" Tumbler from Starbucks
I picked up this tumbler from the Starbucks inside my local Target. I thought it was cute and a pretty decent price (it cost $14.99 I believe) so I couldn't pass it up. I really love have different cups, tumblers, and water bottles to help me drink more water and was honestly pretty excited to get to add this one to my collection.

Fraction Pencils from Target Dollar Spot
I don't typically buy pencils because I have a ton in my classroom already and I don't go through them super fast as being a special education teacher I have some students who don't write. BUT these fraction pencils are super cute and I thought it would be really cool to use as a manipulative or visual to show students when we are working with fractions. I believe this pack was only $1 and has fractions from one whole all the way up to tenths.

Birthday Badge Stickers from Target Dollar Spot
My mom saw these little badge stickers that say "it's my birthday" and I thought they were cute and would be fun to give students. My students typically really enjoy their birthday being recognized (and stickers) so I got these to be able to give them to wear or take home on their birthday. I even thought I could mail the sticker to my students if we were on distance learning during their birthday. I believe each pack of these was only $1 but I picked up two packs to have plenty.

Mini Erasers from Target Dollar Spot
I have a large collection of these erasers, so I had to pick up the items I don't already have! I got the sports pack, dinosaurs, mermaids and narwhals, and the Pete the cat pack. Each pack was $1 each and I'm really happy I was able to add these to my ever growing collection. I love using these as math manipulative and game pieces in my classroom. This round of back to school stuff does have a few more designs than what I have here, like rainbows and pencils for example, but I already have a different/ older version of those designs and decided not to pick them up.

Adhesive Square Label Pockets from Target Dollar Spot
These are clear square pockets with sticky stuff on the back so you can stick them to things and then slide a label into the pocket. I used these for so much around my classroom during my first year- I labeled my desk drawers, the filing cabinet, my students IEP bins and more. I'm pretty sure I used all of the ones I bought last summer, so I knew I had to stock up this summer. I bought 3 packs at $3 each. I would so recommend these to any teacher that wants their classroom clearly labeled and organized.

Astrobrights Postcards from Target
These postcards were in the school supply section in Target (usually in the back of the store) and were $1.99 a pack. I love the bright colors and really thought it would be a fun way to improve my relationship with the parents of the students I teach by mailing them something positive about their child. They come in packs of 15 and I decided to pick up 3 packs.

Binder Clips from Target Dollar Spot
I picked up these really big and simple binder clips that say "to do" and "stuff." Honestly, I don't have a specific use for these other than using them to hold papers together but I saw them and thought they were kind of cute and just couldn't pass them up. I even left them on the shelf originally and came back around to pick them up. The pack of 2 clips was $1.

Name Tag Stickers from Target Dollar Spot
I got a few different designs and 2 different sizes of these name tag stickers. I love to use them as quick and easy labels for student specific stuff. I used them to label my students communication binders, IEP binders, their "mailbox" drawers, and more. I about ran out of the ones I bought last summer so I knew I wanted to stock up this time around. I highly recommend these to other teachers as well! Each pack was $1.

Scratch Off Stickers from Target Dollar Spot
These little gray stickers are pretty interesting. You can write, print, or draw something on a piece of paper, then place one of these stickers to make it a scratch off! I thought it was a really cool idea when I saw them so decided to pick them up. I thought it could make for a really fun activity and still brainstorming exactly how to use them. If I'm teaching online I think it would be fun to mail them a card that has a message from me under the stickers. But we shall see exactly what I'll use these for! This pack of stickers was $1.

Mini Blank Books from Target Dollar Spot
I'll be honest and say I really don't know what I'm going to use these for lol. I saw them and thought the pizza and rainbow patterns were really cute and wanted to pick them up. Let me know if you have any ideas for me! This pack was $1.

Desktop Buzzers
I wanted these buzzers as soon as I saw them on Instagram! My mom found them for me and I've very glad that I now own 4 of them. I plan to use these for games in my classroom in some way in the future. These are cheaper than any set I've found as well with each only being $3.

Large Yellow Bin from Target
This bin was also in the school supply section. I picked it up because the shape is different and I thought this could be good to use when I have a substitute to be able to hold my sub binder and all of the activities for the day in one spot or even if I had a more in depth project I wanted my assistant to complete for me. I also like the yellow color. This bin was $3.

The Happy Planner Wise Teacher Sticker Pack from Michael's
I was looking at The Happy Planner display for teachers and saw this sticker pad that was super cute. I wanted to pick it up and then realized that with the discount they were having on The Happy Planner merchandise and my teacher discount- it was only around $8.50. That is such a good deal as they are originally $19.99 so I couldn't pass it up. I own a happy planner as the planner I use for work and personal life and want to get back into decorating it and using stickers so this was a great purchase.

The Happy Planner Accessory Pack from Michael's
I also decided to get this "accessory pack" of sorts. I honestly don't remember what they actually call it but it has extra notes sheets in two different sizes, stickers, dry erase boards, a bracelet and even a little folder to hold it all. It is actually a "student" pack and has a few things that mention assignments and due dates. Obviously I don't have any assignments right now but that doesn't bother me because I may someday in the future as I'm considering grad school. This pack ended up being around $11 I believe.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my haul because I definitely had fun shopping and sharing these things with you! I hope you have a great day!

XOXO
Faith
