Back To Blogging

Hey y'all! Some of you may know that back in college I had a blog and would write about a lot of different things that interested me and made me happy. It was a good outlet for me and a place to get my many thoughts onto a page and share with a small space on the internet. However, with student teaching and then my first year teaching, I let it fall by the wayside and definitely forgot about this hobby of mine.

Now that I'm well into summer break I began to realize that I need to build my life outside of being a teacher. I love my job, but I can say that I didn't have much of a life outside of my classroom during my first year. So I decided to think about about hobbies and things that I like to do- and my blog came up as one. So here I am- back at it! I don't expect to make money off of this or to make this a career, and I don't expect a ton of people to read each post. I just want to make something "just for fun" that I can enjoy and share. I want to share about things I like and my thoughts. I want to have fun with this and share some joy along the way. I plan to write about Jesus, devotionals, things I'm learning through God, Christian lifestyle items, teaching, education, lessons, supplies, and school fashion. I hope you all like reading it!

I just wanted to share an official announcement that I'm back to blogging. And since it's been a long time since I've had a blog post go live- I did want to add little bit about me.

So here's a few things about me--
I'm going into my 2nd year as a Middle School Self Contained Special Education Teacher. I'm an enneagram 2w1 and Christian sorority girl. I actually serve as my sororities alumni adviser! I love reading, writing, adult coloring books, and spending time with friends and family. I am so excited to be back to blogging and on the internet again here on faith & flair pens!
