At Home Workout Essentials

Hey y'all! Welcome back to faith & flair pens. I'm super glad you're back and excited to share another post with y'all today! Since I talked about my tips for working out at home last week, this week I wanted to share a few things that I find as essential if you are going to workout at home! I don't think you need to spend a lot of money for your setup, but there are a few things I definitely recommend to make your workouts easier, more comfortable, or more successful! I hope you enjoy seeing what my at home workout essentials are!

Fan- Having an extra fan to turn on in addition to the celling fan I have in my room has been so helpful in making sure I stay cool while working out! And I'm someone who doesn't do well with heat, so when I'm working out I need to ensure I stay as cool as possible. If you feel like you're the same way, get a small fan! I got mine at Aldi for like $10 last summer and it does a great job, so you do not have to spend a lot of money.

Big water bottle- Having a big water bottle so that you have plenty of water that stays cold for a while is super important! I typically fill my water bottle the night before so I have less excuses to skip my morning workout, so having a good water bottle is needed to make sure I have enough water and that it'll stay cold overnight. I don't want to run out of water during my workout or have it get warm. I got my water bottle that is a dupe for a Hydroflask on Amazon for pretty cheap if you're interested in that kind of water bottle but want to save some money!

Bike shorts- If you can't tell, comfort is a pretty big priority for me when working out and bike shorts are the perfect balance between not being too covered up by fabric or getting too hot and still having a little bit of coverage. I've gotten bike shorts from Amazon and Walmart from pretty inexpensive!

Small (1,2,or 3 lb.) weights- If you belong to an online workout community or subscribe to a company for workouts like I do (look back at my previous posts about Refit Revolution), some of the workouts will likely use some small weights. You obviously don't have to use them, but it's nice to have the choice to work a little harder in your workout if you'd like. I have a set of 1 lb. weights and a set of 2 lb. weights that I got from Five Below super cheap!

I hope you enjoyed seeing the thigs I find super important for my at home workouts. Feel free to share about what you find essential for a good workout below! I hope you have a good day!

XOXO

Faith
